Consular Services Charter
While we will do what we can to help Australians in difficulty overseas, there are legal and practical limits to what help we may be able to provide. The Consular Services Charter outlines the consular assistance that may and may not be provided to Australians overseas.
Visiting the High Commission
Security screening is in operation at the Australian High Commission in London and is similar to airport screening. To minimise wait times we ask that you do not bring large bags or accessories with you. Generally, the office is busiest between 9am – 12 midday and there may be a queue to get through security. The Australian High Commission does not have public restrooms.
